Thinkpad Yoga 2 won't boot

Hello.

 

Few days after my 3 year warranty ran out, my Yoga 20C0 died suddenly: it was fine and the next boot there wasn't one.

 

Now it's dead and only the led blinks three times when pluggin in the charger and it stays lit like 3 or 4 seconds every time I press the power button to boot up but it won't boot.

 

I've tried the suggestion about the MB labelled cable while also checking any other cable for bad connections, I've removed the battery and tried every single key and button conbinations to no avail.

 

I'm assuming it's not really toast since there's the blinking but dunno.

 

Do any of you know of any solution for this issue other than a WHOLE motherboard replacement?

I would unplug as much as possible - disk, wireless, battery.  See if it boots like that.

Thanks for replying.

 

I kept it few days without battery or adapter.

 

Once plugged again, it kept doing the same.

My guess is motherboard, but it is impossible to be  sure without seeing it.
