Thinkpad Yoga 260 connecting to external Monitors problem

2016-12-16, 1:19 AM

Hi all,

I have a Yoga 260 and two external monitors.  It does not seem to matter how I connect them, USB, HDMI, whatever the thing with a square on one end and USB on the other, directly or through a splicer I can not get the Yoga to recognize the third screen individually (yoga has one monitor, plus 2 external monitors = 3).

I go to display settings but it just will not recognize the third monitor at all unless I use HDMI out of the laptop in to a splicer then 2 HDMIs out and in that case I only get duplicates on the two external screens.

Any suggestions about the best way to set up... as in "it worked for me when I connected USB to one monitor, then daisy chained that to a second one" or "it worked for me when I HDMI to one screen and USB to a second" etc...

Thank you

I have my Thinkpad Yoga 260 connected via the mini displayport to a 1st Thinkvision p27-h screen, which is daisy-chained to a 2nd Thinkvision p27-h screen.  Works great.
