Thinkpad Yoga 460 Problem

2017-02-18, 4:02 AM

Hi everyone.

So I Bought a Thinkpad yoga 460 just 2 days ago, and I think I have a problem.

When I usin in tablet mode, sometimes screen goes black (it turns off) for a few second and back on.

It's just a screen, everything else is find. I think it's realated to auto rotation problem maybe. Cause it happens when I rotate my device while on auto rotation lock. or is there a place shouldn't touch? It's not going to a logon screen. Screen just backs on where it was.

help me ! thanks!

Hi, welcome to the forums.

I have a different kind of Thinkpad Yoga, but I don't experience that issue when I rotate the computer or on tablet mode.

Maybe you can try updating the drivers of you computer.

Here it is the support site: http://pcsupport.lenovo.com/us/en/products/Laptops-and-netbooks/ThinkPad-Yoga-Series-laptops/ThinkPad-Yoga-460/downloads

Just in case update the BIOS and the Intel Display Driver. Does you TY460 also has a Nvidia graphics chipset? can you check on that?, maybe you can update that driver too and see if it improves your issue.

Hi again.

If you are not very confortable installing drivers, maybe I can also recommend to install "Lenovo Companion" and get drivers update from that tool.
