The mouse on my Twist is only visible when moving it. It constantly filckers while moving and disappears as soon as I stop moving it.
I am currently running Windows 10 but had the same issue with 8.1 that went away eventually. I'm not sure how.
I updated to the current BIOS for Windows 10.
Drivers installed seem to have higher numbers than what's available on the support site.
This problem occurs with any built in or external mouse.

I have this problem too. Just upgradet to 10, and it began. I didn't have the problem on 8.1, though.
I'm new to this forum - how long is normal response time for these kinds of questions?

Apparently they don't know the answer or they're really slow. Anyway, mine did fix itself eventually but I left the question up to see what their ideas are to fix this the next time it happens.

But surely, this has to be a common enough problem that a solution could be found somewhere online? A driver download or something? I really feel it shouldn't be neccesary to call customer support for this kind of problem.

I had same problem and got fixed using following steps,
I Changed my screen resolution from 1366X768 to 1360x768 and mouse started working fine.
Then I downloaded windows 10 64 bit driver from lenovo site and downgraded the windows default display driver with the downloaded one (it inverted my mouse movement )
Then I opened my device manager and right click on display driver and click on upgrade then select "automatically search driver" option from dialog.
It again upgraded the driver and I again changed resolution to 1366x768 and my mouse still working fine.
(BTW if anyone not able to understand me send me an email ***********@gmail.com as I may not visit or reply forum soon)
