Hi Lenovo community,
I would like to know if any of you are experience the following issue. I just purchased a brand new Lenovo X380 Yoga notebook.
After multiple trial and errors of freshly setting up an Outlook 2016 profile with a new .ost file, the behavior I noticed is that receiving new emails will NOT appear within seconds or minutes. It will actually not appear even after 30 minutes. The mailbox has about 40GB worth of emails. What I did notice was that when the Exchange cache mode was set to 3 months, then the new emails were seen in a timely manner. The workaround is to close Outlook and then re-open. This has to be done very often. This mailbox account works fine on an X240 system.
I was working with a simliar setup of Outlook 2016 profile on a Lenovo T480 system and didn't have this issue. The mailbox size of that user account was also 40GB. With this setup, the Exchange cache mode was left at 1 yr or All.
Any repsponse of feedback would be appreciated.
