I have a very annoying problem with my 260 yoga. It randomly, but very often, happens that my screen freezes for a few seconds. But in the background the yoga works normally (for example while it hangs i press the start button and after a few seconds it stops to hang and the start menu is there. it opens it while the screen is frozen not after it !)
This is very annoying while working with the laptop and makes it nearly impossible. the cursor hangs so often its terrible.
What I already did:
-clean installation of windows 10 (formatting the ssd and installation from usb drive)
-newest drivers through the system update software
-i tried intel graphics drivers directly from intel as well.
i tried to open the taskmanager and watch the tasks when it hangs but it doesnt hang when the taskmanager is open for sure..
In the lenovo solution center hardwarescan i have no problems.
Once there was a problem with the short smart-selftest but i did the test again and the problem was gone.
What can i do to solve this problem?

Same problem here.
Yoga 260 freezes randomly for a few seconds.
Screen is frozen, mouse, touchpad, touchscreen and keyboard inputs do not work.
For me, this freeze only happens when power is not plugged in.
Everything up to date in terms of Windows and Lenovo updates.

well cannot be 100 % sure, it now that you mentioned it it seems that the fact of being or not being connected to power does matter.
Unplugged my yoga and screen froze for about 10 seconds. Keyboard, BT mouse, touchpad - no response.

I am trying to fiddle with power saving settings. I thought perhaps ssd being awakened might cause this. Changed it from 3 to 15 min so let's see. i will let you know.

The problem exits while powerplug is connected as well!
Its the same in every energymode u can chose in windows 10, it hangs in high perfomance mode as well as in balanced and energy save mode!
i also tried to deaktivate the pci and ssd power saving modes, same Problem!!

hey, so far so good
played a bit with power settings and so far no problem. Could be just a coincidence if so I will tell you later. One full day of work and no problem. Set min power to 8% and ssd to 15min

I forogot to mention I also installed advanced system care and ran a test and allowed it to correct all errors.
Dunno which one really solved the issue though.
If you do both I am pretty sure it will help you and it did to me.
