I have a strange problem with my yoga 260.
When I move the screen tilt (or tap the bezel) the Windows 10 start menu appears...odd!!
this now happens all the time, it started a few days ago.
Then, occasionally, the tap/scroll on the touchpad stops working for a short time.
the screen touch seems ok, so when i clear the start menu by touching screen, all appears to go back to normal.
but if i touch screen to hard, the start menu appears again, so i have to be gentle.
I cannot find any related errors in event manager/device manager.
i have reloaded windows 10 - still have same issue.
all drivers are up to date.
if i attach wireless keyboard/touch pad..it is working normally. (but original error still occurs)
i am guessing it is something to do with a tilt screen sensor(?)..and is trying to switch to tablet mode..but i dont know where to fix it.
i dont use as tablet, so happy to diable this feature - but how? it could solve the problem.
it could be that liquid got spilled on the keyboard, and keys and membrne could need cleaning. but i cannot see how to remove and clean keyboard.
Any advise is appreciated.

I'm still looking for some help on this one...anyone got some ideas?
I'm starting to think it may be a driver issue - although it is all up to date.
I think it started when intel suport app upgraded the graphics driver last week. I noted that the version installed by intel is different from that on the lenovo site...now reloaded the lenovo version (lower version number) - but no change in symptoms.
I have reading some other posts the YMC driver could be this issue, but I cannot find this software anywhere on the PC.
Should I have it loaded? It is not availabe from lenovo website.
When the kb and touch pad stop working, i found i can enable it again instantly by clicking on the virtual kb button on taskbar, then ESC.
May not be hinge position related, as can happen anytime the base is nudged, not just the screen position.
Any help appreciated.
Soon I will be looking to erase/format the hdd and full clean reload of windows 10- but may not solve probs.

Hi, me again
1. Wiped ssd - clean install o/s - SAME ERROR
2. Removed some KB keys and cleaned (especially windows key) - no sign of contamination - replaced keys - SAME ERROR
Must be some other hardware problem - but what?
Still appreciate any support.

It could be a bad cable, a bad digitizer, bad sensor
Is it still under warranty? Many are. If yes, call support.

Yes, this was my thinking now, but how can i diagnose further, and fix?
I'm quite handy at fixing laptops, but need to know what to replace.
No, it is no longer under warranty.
Supose I could try to load a linux distro (boot from usb) to see if fault is still there.

Further update - progress i think...
I have disconnected the touch screen controll cable (panel at bottom of screen), and the fault is gone - but of cause no touch anymore).
When I reconnect cable - fault returns.
So definately something to do with touch screen (or cable to motherboard) right?
I am happy to replace the screen (diy job) or the cable (or both).
Any ideas if these spares are available?
For now I am happy (ish) that fault is gone - but really want touch function back.
