I'm using a USB-C to Ethernet adapter on my Yoga 370 and approximately every few hours I lose Ethernet connectivity. The hardware device disappears and the operating system no longer sees any Ethernet interface. I can recover by either unplugging / replugging the USB-C to Ethernet adapter, or rebooting the computer. Therefore, my issue does not seem to be the same as other posts in the forum relating to non-functional USB-C ports. My best guess is that my port is going into a sleep mode. However, it happens while actively working on the laptop, so it is not related to inactivity. Has anyone else seen this?
I have now experienced it with two different USB-C to Ethernet adapters (one is a Levono dock and the other is a Plugable Ethernet adapter).
I have the latest (July 13, 2018) BIOS for the Yoga 370; I do not see any BIOS settings that would periodically sleep the USB-C port.
I appreciate any feedback about this.
