I have a Yoga 370 (Win10) and a Thunderbolt 3 dock & Thinkpad USB-C dock and i cannot get them to play nice. I am using the USB-C cord on both devices, it transmits video and power but not USB or Ethernet. I have downloaded drivers and firmware from Lenovo and still no luck, the computer does not see the dock BUT the video and power are there. I changed my BIOS settings per the firm ware update well and no luck. any help would be much appreciated!

I think the reason is because the Thunderbolt software AND firmware are not updated. The Yoga uses the same TB3 chip as the T470, but the T470 has newer software (v17 instead of v16) and newer firmware. Please release this update for the Yoga 370 too.

When trying to update my Thunderbolt Software and Firmware, the versions are older than other ThinkPads like T470 even though it has the same Thunderbolt controller 15BF. For example the T470 is on v17 while Yoga is on v16.
Please make the updates for T470 available for Yoga 370 too. I don't use a TB3 dock or eGPU (yet) but have heard from others having connection/power issues. Based on TB3 software changelogs the new version should fix most of these issues.

@gemmoglock Could you expand perhaps on which issues you are experiencing or if you can point to other people reporting issues please do so because, currently, we have no volume reports of issues concerning the Yoga 370 and Thunderbolt.

Hello Andy, thanks for merging my post in. So far @HKOT is having issues.
Although there are no volume reports, it would be great if the T470 update can be made for Yoga 370 too as it is the exact same TB3 controller on the motherboard. On Reddit, a Yoga 370 user notes that his Akitio Node eGPU only works with custom drivers from Akitio to add the Power Delivery functionality which the old TB3 software doesn't have.

Hello, we have the same kind of problem - we have updated the Yoga via system update, and have firmware updated the dock, as described on your support site. We have also set the bios as asked.
But as soon as the Yoga has rebooted the dock doesn't work again, and we have to uninstall the dock software, and start over - and again as soon as the Yoga has been rebooted, the same problem accures!
How to solve this problem!?
