Hello!

  • Lenovo Yoga 370
  • Fresh new install of Windows 10 1709
  • Restart computer
  • Mobile broadband: Inactive (adter every restart)
  • Click on: Mobile
  • After a couple of seconds, status changes from "Inactive" to "No service"
    • Tested with 3 SIM card that works in other devices (Lenovo Yoga Book), on the same location
    • All card are activated
    • They dont need PIN

Any ideas? Makes me crazy! Smiley Sad

Re: Yoga Sierra Wireless EM7355 No service

Hi

em7355 doesn't work in European LTE networks, in Sweden including.

So, contact the cellular provider supporters to check out the SIM cards options, whether they support 3g network (UMTS/HSPA+) service for em7355.

No that cant be true.

When I got the device it worked but as I wanted to leave Windows insider I have to reinstall win 10 and then it stopped working.

And yes, I have dowloaded the latest drivers from lenovo.com

what exactly? em7355 doesn't support the frequency bands of European LTE operators. This modem is for AT&T, Bell, Rogers, Sprint, Telus, T-Mobile, Verizon. For proof read em7355' specification and Swedish LTE networks features.

Windows selects the network type / technology (2g/3g/LTE) depending on:
- the SIM card / contract options
- the modem settings (preferred network type)
- appropriate network signal's power in certain location. The more power certain network has (2g/3g/LTE) - the more chance the Windows connects to this network if there isn't preferable network setting.

Anyway, you might not believe me and troubleshoot yourself.

SOLVED! Uninstalled the driver, rebooted, uninstalled again, rebooted, did a "Driver check" on Lenovo support, got the latest driver, worked
