Hi,
I suddenly noticed that my touch screen is not working. I have tried to update driver for HID-compliant touch screen (however best driver was alread used). Also tried to disable/enable the device but still no function. I checked the "Events" for the driver and the last event was "Device not migrated" with the following message:
"Device HID\VID_056A&PID_504A&Col06\6&2fac5222&0&0005 could not be migrated.

The pen driver seem to work though. I noticed that outside the visible area on the screen there is a small crack in the glass. Can that cause the touch screen to not function?

mine also same problem but in my case i am not able to find the driver anymore even i am not able to find it on internet so i can download it
hope that i can find a solution

I have exactly the same problem Event description " HID compliant touch screen could not be migrated"
I haveFlex 5-1570 (Type 80XB) Laptop (Lenovo) - Type 80XB
Detail:
Device HID\WCOM50E8&Col01\5&11e08167&1&0000 was not migrated due to partial or ambiguous match.
Did you resolve this issue? What did you do to solve it?

The pen and the finger-touch are 2 separate devices, so it makes sense that 1 would work. The little crack means there is a break in the matrix that handles finger-touch so that is probably the reason. The pen digitizer is behind the panel.
