I am a support engineer for our organization, supporting around 1500 Yoga X380's.
Recently, we have had a bunch of reports of random audio failures, with audio suddenly stopping on these devices.
Steps I've taken:
DISM /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
Removed the Conexant audio driver and restored it with the driver here
Rebooted the Windows audio service
Other miscellaneous (common troubleshooting) steps
The only reliable solution we have come accross is to reimage the machine. But with a growing number of complaints, this is not a sustainable solution. What can I do to resolve this?
