iMController Malfunction

I keep getting this error every 10 minutes

and also on start up.

 

Having booted up the task manager, I realise i have too many of these iMController files open. Can anyone advise me on which ones can go?

What model ThinkPad do you have?

Can you please check in Control Panel -> Programs and tell me what version of Lenovo System Interface Foundation is installed?

It began roughly a week ago.

I also got another error message from the power gauge. Not sure what it is about

My advice is to uninstall Lenovo System Interface Foundation, and then reboot as prompted.

AFter rebooting, then re-install it from here:

https://filedownload.lenovo.com/enm/sift/core/SystemInterfaceFoundation.exe

 

Let me know if that clears it up.  If not, we will dig into it some more.

That solved that problem, but a new one has begun to show.

 

Everytime I try to log on to a wifi connection this pop up is displayed.

 

Do you have any suggestions?

Sorry, I don't have any idea about it, and haven't seen that before.  It might be best to ask this question on a Microsoft forum since the pop up appears to be coming from Windows itself.

Hi Thanks for the reply. 

 

The original issue just came back. The power gauge resourse is not available and a .dll error occured once again. Not sure if the uninstall was a temporary patch. Hope this gets resolved soon.

Since nobody else is reporting this (that I know of), I'm not sure what the problem could be.

Can you check your AV software to see if it has mistakenly quarantined some resource files related to Lenovo System Interface Foundation?
