pen pressure w/ lenovo thinkpad s1 yoga

I’m currently experiencing issues with inconsistent digitizer pen pressure/sensitivity.
When painting within CS6, the strokes will suddenly and randomly grow thick and bold, despite brush settings for opposite results, and without a change in the pressure I apply to the screen. I am running CS6 on a Lenovo ThinkPad S1 Yoga, with a Windows 10 64-bit OS.

Is this an issue with my Lenovo, Photoshop, Windows 10, the pen, or something else?

What steps can I take to resolve this matter once and for all?

Maybe you can try updating some of the driver related to the Pen.

There is the Wintab Driver for Windows 10. Check if you need to update it.

Other thing that also may help is doing some "trial and error" with other pen related software, link using Inkscape and configuring it with the pen just to try it out.

Any luck with this? I'm having the same problem!

I figured out that I get the 100% pressure whenever I set the pen down on the display and then start to draw. If I set down the pen in motion I get a regular stroke. No idea what it could be.

CS6 seem to work ok with external digitizer panel and pen only
