thinkpad yoga 14 headphone jack high frequency sound

when i plug in high quality headphones i notice a very high frequency sound(tested many headphones and multiple OSes in my laptop), got the sound card changed throgh warranty, but the problem persists, ive read that maybe is an EMI interference(video card maybe), an engeneering problem. do you also experience those? is there anything i can do?

my laptop model is 20DM000VUS

Re: thinkpad yoga 14 headphone jack high frequency sound

I do too!
However I noticed, oddly enough, that the phenomenon goes away when I plug the thing into AC power.
Also, when I first upgraded to W10, there were some major changes to the sound capabilites - I could watch a YouTube video comfortably at maybe 4 in W8.1 while I had to crank it up past 80 in W10. After updating to W10v1511 this issue has since been fixed, and the volume of this hissing has also decreased.
I tried a good many things too. Reinstalling the sound drivers, and all that.
Have a good day.
