Re: 6 Cell battery for Thinkpad T460

I am going to jump in here and add to this that I keep finding the information on Lenovo's website to be less than acceptable especially regarding battery compatibility and information.
I have over a dozen Thinkpad models at my disposal (from T400's to T450's, and X230's to X260's) and just lately was asked by someone to look into battery options for the X260. Take a look at this page: https://support.lenovo.com/ch/en/solutions/pd027968
There are 2 batteries shown - the 3-cell 23.5Wh (68) and the 6-cell 72Wh (68+). But there is no mention of the 6-cell 47Wh battery (also 68+). But how did I get to this page? After searching and searching ... and more searching ... through PSREF's, part number sheets etc ... I looked at the FRU on the battery of an X260 I bought recently (45N1735) and searched for it online -> On the bottom of the second page of Google search was the very first Lenovo link ... the above linked-to page.
But when I bought this X260 the only battery options given to me were the 6-cell 72Wh and 6-cell 47Wh - no 3-cell 23.5Wh option whatsoever. And even though the part number of the 6-cell 47Wh is on the page (45N1735) there is no mention of it's Wh's or anything else to distingush it from the 72Wh. And now, if you look at this page under 'Hardware compatibility' for both batteries it's written 'ThinkPad T440s' and below that 'Note: For the latest updates on the compatible systems, please refer to the Accessories Compatibility Guide.'. Then you go to this 'Accessories Compatibility Guide' and end up having to download an Excel spreadsheet (no, I am not kidding!). REALLY Lenovo!?!?
How about going to http://pcsupport.lenovo.com/ch/en/partslookup ... well I look up my battery's FRU and get some feedback. But glance at the compatibility list and the X260 is not there - Hey, Lenovo, you do realise you are selling the X270 already!?
But how would a non-tech-savvy person go about looking for a battery for this X260? By going here http://www3.lenovo.com/us/en/accessories/chargers-and-batteries/c/chargers-and-batteries?menu-id=chargers_&_batteries ... select the tick box for batteries in the top-left selection area, and then ... what? Scroll through 4 pages of batteries? Where is the selection of Thinkpad make, model etc? How would anyone know off the top of their head that they are looking only for a 68 or 68+ battery? But ok, I scroll through all the page and only find a single 68x battery http://www3.lenovo.com/us/en/accessories/chargers-and-batteries/batteries/BATT-BO-Thinkpad-Battery-68/p/0C52862 which is the 6-cell 72Wh battery (the largest and heaviest) and where it states 'The Lenovo ThinkPad Battery 68+ is compatible with W550, T440, T440s, L450, T450s, T450, T550, X250 and X240 systems.' - Oh shucks, I guess it's not compatible with my X260 ... Come on.
Lenovo, this - is - a - total - mess - !
