Cannot extract SCCM; driver package for T490s silently. "You have changed the extraction location."

2020-08-01, 15:24 PM

Hello, I would like to extract the driver.exe (tp_t490s_x390_w1064_1909_202003.exe) from https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/us/en/products/laptops-and-netbooks/thinkpad-t-series-laptops/thinkpad-t490s-type-20nx-20ny/downloads/driver-list/component?name=Enterprise%20Management silently to another folder.
I have not any problems with other lenovo sccm driver packages using the command:

tp_t490s_x390_w1064_1909_202003.exe /VERYSILENT /DIR=<Path>TP490s /EXTRACT=YES /LOG=<Path>TP490s.log

If I do this using the above executable a window comes up with the message: "You have changed the extraction location. This will change the default directory and is a security risk. Ensure you have an anti-virus installed before continuing!"

Thus I cannot extract the drivers silently. The message is a kind of stupid in my opinion, because an anti-virus will check either directory. By the way, it is Windows 10 with the build in Defender.

Does anyone got a solution to extract this file silently?

Thanks in advance!

Best regards Jochen
