Anyone has some other channels to complaint Lenovo service and product? Please share with us, as customer, we have the legal rights to protect our benefits !
Lenovo must take actions to be responsible for your product and services !!!

Before Thinkpad was IBM products, the quality is quite good, but after Thinkpad was bought by Lenovo, the quality become worse and worse, and the customer service is also very bad, they usually give some unreasonable excuses ...

If any one want to purchase a Thinkpad product, I strongly advise you must think carefully before you buy ... ... one year ago, I was also hesitating between apple and thinkpad, their price maybe not big different, usually around two hundred bucks, i think you should not care too much about the price, you must care about the stability and quality !!! Now I was very disappointed and regret why I didn't choose apple MACPRO one year ago ...

If I choose apple, maybe now I was not so frustrated with these troubles caused by this poor quality thinkpad !!!

Just remember Your choice is very important !!!

Regardless of manufacturer, everyone will have a chance of producing a lemon. That means, as a buyer, there's always a non-zero chance that you'll get a defective machine.

In this case, it appears that the machine you received has one of those difficult to diagnose, intermittent issues.

I'd keep asking them to fix it.

Yes, I agree that every one has a chance to get the defective machine (like the lucky draw, right?), but what I cannot accept is I request a one to one exchange for this defective machine, but your lenovo care (Singapore) reject this, the lenovo care representative insist to fix this defective machine, and give the reason is because this is the first time hardware problem !!!

 

How come your policy is like this? Your lenovo only approve one to one exchange depending on how many times it got hardware problems, I think you should see how serious the problem is !!!

 

Another, I was very angry with lenovo customer care working attitude, your representative always give some unreasonable execuse and never be active to contact the customer to update the status. So far, my case (P4D61RF) has been escalated already more than two weeks, but no one respond me if I didn't contact them. Every time I call them, they say they are still debugging and don't know where is the problem, will assign senior engineer to speed up, and no deadline !!! How come your lenovo's working style is like this??? You never have dealine for the customer's case??? I cannot understand ...... And your customer respresentative is very impatient if I ask some more details about the problem !!!

 

So if anyone seek my advice on purchasing laptop, I am very sure, I will suggest them not to buy lenovo unless you wish to have a lucky draw for the defective machine!!! Now there are many big brands for customer choose, I think no buyers wish to pay the first level price for the third level quality product !!!

Today I was totally disappointed with Lenovo. This morning, your Lenovo service center call me and inform me that the laptop already OK, after their so many days test and debug. I also think this time should fine. So I ask Lenovo to deliver back. After work, I go back home to check the laptop. I see the report indicated:

 

+CS PEW 2013-06-17/NBD/PD431-DC01/INDICATOR LIGHT ALL WORKING FINE/TES TE DIN BIOS, EXTERNAL OK, INTERNAL NO DISPLAY, SAME IN WINDOWS/NO 3RD PARTY HW/PWR CYCLE DONE/APPT:06/11 @ 4-5PM PANEL: 63Y3033/DONE-BY RAZAK/SBO FRU: 04W0511(A)

 

Actually I can't understand all the above strings standing for, but I can roughly understand part of it.

 

 Then the nightmare started:


1. Firstly, I power on the laptop, and then I see a very very obvious warning: 2200 Machine Type and Serial Number are invalid !!! Your lenovo test so many days (14days already), and you told me how complicated and time-consuming your test cases are. But I just want to know you didn't notice this so obvious warning ????!!!!!!! How did you test??? You are blinded ??? You don't know there is so obvious warning ???


2. Then the laptop can log into the windows, it seems ok, it can display normally. Then I check the outside, another nightmare comes !  On the right bottom, there was a button to drag for locking/unlocking the montior when monitor close, this button cannot work, it means, it cannot lock the monitor when i close it, there is a big gap between it when the monitor closed !!! Your working attitude is too bad, you didn't deserve the price I pay for it !!!! You didn't check your work carefully before delivering to customer !!! You thought the customer maynot pay attention to these details !!!! You are totally wrong !!! 

 

3. Another problem is the keyboard, when clicking on the key board, the keyboard is shaking seriously, the normal keyboard should not be like this, should be very stable, it is very obvious your lenovo didn't install the key board well, and there is a big gap, I even can see what is under the key board !!!

 

In this forum, there are lots of Lenovo staff, who can explain how come your working attitude is like this? Atfer my case happened, I found this is a serious problem, so I request lenovo care Singapore to do one to one exchange, but you reject my request, you would rather chang the system board and wireless card and re-install the whole laptop hardware components, then you deliver back a half-disabled laptop !!! You are fooling your customer ??? Or you think customers are foolish as you ??? I was totally disappointed with Lenovo, I must escalate this case to public and some news media. Please be prepared !!! You lenovo must apologize publicly and do compensations !!!

It seems my last replies on how to make effective complaint was removed by administrator ... That is because I get their weakness and they are afraid of that. Even though I already try to hide some key information of Lenovo, however, they are still removded.

 

It's OK .... I can understand and I have already successfully expressed my complaint to Lenovo high level. But if anyone still need my help, I will be very glad to help you ! You can send message to me seek my advice. Because I don't want to see you become victims of Lenovo!
