2018-06-24, 21:46 PM

Hi .

I have a Lenovo T400 6473pvu and at the same time two USB ports have a slot and I do not know what it is. It measures approximately 6 CM.

Could you tell me what is please?

Thank you.

OK thanks.

Can I put an SSD in that slot?

Yes, ExpressCard/54 slots do support ExpressCard/34 cards. Will it work? Probably. But I think you will not be able to boot from this drive.

One more detail, the slot support 2 different card types, ExpressCard/54 and CardBus.

thanks for your reply

I've been reading that in that slot you can put a GPU (video card) http://forum.notebookreview.com/threads/diy-egpu-experiences.418851/

It is advisable? and what model can I put there?

Greetings and thanks
