Possible to blank T500 screen?

2008-11-03, 17:38 PM
Fn-F3 used to instantly blank the screen my old T42.  Not so with my new T500.  Is there anyway to do this by keyboard or a shortcut?

there is, with my XP T500.  if I have power manager installed and the screen doesn't blank at Fn-F3:

* what pops up is the "Choose Power Screen" dialog box

* in the lower left of that dialog is a link to "Fn + F3 Settings"

* clicking that brings me to a dialog box that lets me set the computer to do what you are saying
