I have a ThinkPad Universal USB-C dock connected to a Lenovo T14 laptop running Windows 10. Windows 10 allows you to configure power button behavior, but it appears that the power button on the dock does not honor the Windows setting. Is there a way to have the power button on the dock to do what the Windows setting says it should do? My Windows power settings say "Sleep", but the dock button only does "power off".
Upon further checking, the dock power button does not emulate the power button's capability on the machine.
This is a firmware control.
The dock's power button can only initiate turning off or on.

I understand that you are looking to set the ThinkPad Universal USB-C dock's power button to activate sleep mode on with the ThinkPad T14.
It seems that this Windows OS feature isn't translated to the dock.
The dock's user guide is not showing such option.
