That happened to me too. I ordered a T400 with WXGA+ TFT with the LED backlight. The screen isn't even available on the lenovo site right now. Neither are the T400 or T500. If the estimated ship date disappeared, what does it mean? Is the order going to be pushed back or has it already shipped? I need the computer soon, my old laptop's screen already went out :/

+1. Ordered a T410s with last "known estimated" date of shipping as 4/21. Its now unknown.

+2. When I ordered my T410s, the estimated shipping date was 3/9. For a couple of days already the orders page only shows a generic "At the moment we can´t get the status of your order. Please try in a few minutes." popup. That means that its going to ship soon, right? RIGHT? :smileywink:

My shipment is getting held up in Kentucky. Called up UPS and they said that the stuff was shipped in a bundle among with a bunch stuff from Lenovo, so the whole bundle has to get cleared before my stuff can continue...

Like the others my estimated shipping date went blank on the lenovo order status.  I also am awaiting a t410s which I ordered Feb. 15.  I've called a couple times and they have told me different things so I don't know who to believe.  However I checked the IBM order status database and there seems to have more information on orders.  My status says "Scheduled to ship".  I don't know how accurate it is but can someone else try and see what their order status says using the IBM order status database?

I also have a T410s on order (since 2/11), and see the same

Given the number of orders in this apparent 'limbo', perhaps one of the Lenovo reps who monitors these forums could clue us in on what that means? (I know y'all are out there...)

You guys should call them up to see the order is still valid or canceled. The hold time usually is very short.

I did call, the rep on the phone had about as much info as the web page - he gave the old 'bumped to 4/16' ship date, said he'd e-mail when they got their 'weekly update' on such matters. (I'll believe it when I see the e-mail...)

T410s, i5-520M, Intel Gfx, 128GB SSD, 4GB RAM, non-MT screen, Win7 Ult x64, bay batt

Ordered 2/11, original ship date was 3/2

Ship rescheduled for 4/16

Ship date is now blank

Called three times

First time, late feb, was told should ship in early March despite date on the web site

Second time, March 2nd (or close), rep said it would be moved to the priority queue

Third time, today, after a few days of blank ship date, "System scheduled to ship week of 4/16, will e-mail when we get our weekly update of estimated ship dates"

As a very long time Thinkpad owner (10+ years), it pains me to say that if Lenovo's order processing / supply chain / customer communication do not pull their collective heads out of their (censored), this may be the last. The lack of real, realistic, real time order status is not acceptable in 2010, and the CSRs really need to be given better information. The fact that the CSRs only get a weekly update on production is absurd.

I have an order that, if I placed it today, claims it would ship in 9 days. The CSR says it will not ship for more than another month. I can't even get a straight answer as to which it is.

I wonder if this has anything to do with the long waits at the moment?
