Simple question: do either of these laptops have NFC?

T14 G4 tech data states under "Wireless": "NFC (Only Deep Black models)"

But these specs state:

So the T14 G4 documents are confusing about NFC...

For the T14S, first document does not even mention NFC, second one states the same as T14:  NFC - No support

Based on the PSREF docs that you linked, it indicates that there are ThinkPad T14 Gen 4 and T14s Gen 4 that do support NFC. The feature is available in some variants. You may check it thru the support site using the Machine Type Model or the serial number. We apologized if you are confused with the said document

I checked the PSREF site directly, entered the MTM that you provided, and it shows that NFC is not available (None) for this model.
Check this link for more details (Connectivity>NFC>None).
Perhaps you may try and search for other variants of the same model that has NFC.
