T400 Audio problem

New PC just bought for one month. All is fine untill today when I plug in my headphone, the computer is still sounding while no sound in the headphone. It seems that there is problem with the switch between computer speaker and the headphone.


I did not plug into the wrong place.


Headphone is OK. I tried mine on other computers, it's OK. I also tried other's headpnohe on my PC, the same problem.


What is the problem? Is it hardware or software? Does anyone know why and how to solve it?

Scroll a little down in the thread.

But it seems only as a workaround and if the problem appear again, I would suggest to

contact Lenovo support line.
