Re: T430u now available, but...

Hi Lead,

For the US website, how come I cannot order a t430u with 1tb hdd and a NVIDIA graphics card?

The only option which I can get with the NVIDIA is with 128gb ssd.

every country has different configuration option. You could just go with aftermarket drive for the 1 tb option.

I just got the 500 gigs version, because it was the cheapest i could of got. I am thinking of getting an Samsung 830 512 gigs to to replace my 500 gigs, or a 256 gigs mSATA.

Hi,

I do not mean to be be pushy but....are we going to get a chance to get a screen comparison between the T430u, X1 Carbon and another high resolution screen so that we can get a sense for whether the low resolution on the thinkpad t430u is decent rather than having images and everything be extremely pixalated which would be a shame...

Thanks!

i just got the machine around 1 hour ago. I have the X1C and T430s with the 1600x900 LCD. So i can do a comparison between these machines.

But i got to say the T430u screen is great, i haven't seen a TN LCD this good on machine without high gamut RGB LED.

Could this HD+ screen solve all the problems? Anyone got an opinion?

Hi lead_org,

Considering you own lots of previous models of Lenovo Thinkpads, how would you rate the build quality of the Lenovo ThinkPad T430u?? Also I would like to know about the noise and heat emissions of this particular model (the T430u) as I was previously considering the T430 but later discarded considering the noisy fan issue.

Best Regards,

Luis

never mind i did not realize that you had a link on your thinkscopes websites doing a review of the t430u in detail. my apologies. nonetheless, can we still get a visual of image of say the same picture at different viewing angles?
