Re: T440 Bluetooth does not appear in settings or device manager

Have a look at the BIOS Setup again.
There is settings "Lock UEFI BIOS Settings". It prevents changes without entering supervisor password.

Are you trying to acces the BIOS after laptop powered off completely and its cold start or from the OS itself, via Charms menu? Try both methods.

Re: T440 Bluetooth does not appear in settings or device manager

The "Lock UEFI BIOS Settings" option is is disabled and greyed out. After installing some bluetooth drivers for my system, bluetooth option appers on Wireless Divices under the Airplaine mode. Wi-fi is on, but bluetooth is off and greyed out. Do Lenovo products come with a built in supervisor password for BIOS Settings? If so, where is that supposed to be found? Thank you

There was the second part of my questons above, regarding BIOS Setup access method.

Anyway, Lenovo doesn't set any BIOS password for their products.

I solved my problem by doing the following (not sure what exactly has helped):

  1. Turn off PC
  2. Disconnect all the external monitors
  3. F1/Bios/Security/Bluetooth --> Disalbed and then Enabled
  4. Save and restart --> I see my "Bluetooth" icon again
