Re: T530 wifi problem / WAN Miniport (Network monitor) #2 problem

2013-01-05, 22:24 PM

I have the same issue with my new T430s ! The wifi connection lost suddenly from time to time !

And also the WAN miniport(Network monitor) #2 problem says:

This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31)

This issue has to be fixed! So disappointed with such an expensive laptop.

New T530 win 8 straight from Lenovo - same miniport problem.  Device Manager shows problem, can't enable, says software is updated.  I can't connect to my wireless printer.  Laptop says printer offline, it isn't.  This problem just started.  I also have an Intel USB-IF xHCI USB host controller error in device manager that's new and also reports enabled with updated software.

Also having same troubles on my T530:

Machine Details

------------------------

-Model 2359CTO

-Windows 8 64-bit (factory installed)

-Intel Centrino Ultimate-N 6300 adapter

Problems

----------------

-WAN MiniPort (Network Monitor) #2 - Yellow Exclamation point / Code 31

-Periodic WiFi disconnects, must disable adapter and reenable to connect again (sometimes this doesn't even work and I have to power down and reboot)

-I now also have, as someone else reported, a yellow exclamation / Code 31 on Intel WiUSB --> USB-IF xHCI USB Host Controller

I've installed the most recent version of the WiFi drivers from the Intel web site.  I'll see if that helps the WiFi drop issues (it hasn't fixed the WAN MiniPort or WiUSB problems, though).

On my T430s I'm also seeing the "Code 31 on Intel WiUSB --> USB-IF xHCI USB Host Controller" after today's Windows Update.  I continue to experience the wifi connection issues and the WAN miniport error message (as I reported almost 1 month ago).

My issue is starting to act up again after almost a week of fairly clear sailing.  I hope they find a permanent solution to this most annoying problem before end-of-product life is up.:smileyfrustrated:

Hi All,

We may need a voluntary machine which exhibits this issue. Let me double confirm with our engineers.

Sorry for inconvenience caused.

Cleo

Are you suggesting that Lenovo can't reproduce this problem?

Sigh...

Seriously.. I've waited all this time for a fix, and now you guys ask for a test machine?

Does that mean nothing's been done to rectify this issue all this time?

And with so many people having the exact same problem... Lenovo's team can't even replicate it once? *slaps forehead* seriously?
