T570 don't start up

2020-09-15, 10:36 AM

Hi all,

We're having troubles with one of our T570 Notebooks.

After the battery got completely discharged through using I plugged it on power again. After a view hours I tried unsuccessfully to start the notebook several times.

What i did specifically:

-Pushed the power-button for 30 sec. while the battery was builtin (powercable removed)

-Removed the battery and pushed the power-button for 30 seconds (powercable removed)

-Pressed the PIN-hold button for about 15 seconds while battery was removed (powercable removed)

-Plugged in the power cable and pushed the power-button for 30 seconds

The booting up after those workflows we're as mentioned unsuccessfully.

Interesting was, in all scenarios the keyboard of the notebook lighted up for some seconds and vanished again. Same for the red thinkpad light on the topside from the screen.

Has anyone a hint how we could proceed or what is left to do?
