Thinkpad T410s with 64bit Windows

2010-04-19, 13:10 PM

I have a couple of questions:

1) Anyone got the 291225U model of the T410s? The main things missing from 291225U seem to be 64 bit OS and a bit RAM. Is this really the only difference between that and more expensive models.

2) Anyone had much experience with T410s and 64bit? Any are to comment on advantages / disadvantages?

Kind regards,

Joe

you can now order the 64 bit OS recovery media from Lenovo for a small fee (handling & service charge).

The 64 bit allows you to use more than 3 gig of ram, which is the limit for the 32 bit OS.
