Web browsing hardware keys question...

2010-08-12, 18:07 PM

I ran a ComboFix program to fix an issue I was having with IE, and while that was fixed up in the process my Browsing Keys (the ones near the directionals) are no longer working.

Previously I had them mapped to Pg Up and Pg Dn like my old Acer Tablet.

Neither my mapping software, NOR the Thinkpad Keyboard Customizer Utility seems to pick them up.

I'm assuming there is a TSR that allots their function that for some reason is no longer starting up.
Or maybe it's a missing hardware driver for those extra keys?

I reinstalled the Thinkpad Keyboard Customizer, the Hotkey App, and some Power Management software, but no dice yet.

Any ideas what TSR should be running? If I can figure that out, I can probably plop it back into startup- as the software may have been confused for (or actually was) something infecting my machine.

Much thanks.
