I am trying to decide if it's time to buy a new battery of if my current one could work.
The current external battery is always at 5% which a permanent status of charging both on Windows and Linux Mint. I do not have threshold set on Lenovo Vantage, updated the drivers and BIOS.
I am assuming I need a new battery, but would like to get a second opinon. Thank you in advance for taking the time to read : )
The battery condition on Lenovo Vantage is Fair and below is the info:

Hello and welcome,
The way I read that report is that remaining full charge capacity is less than 10% of original capacity - so it's overdue for replacement,.
You could try running a battery recalibration to see if that improves things but be aware that doing that on a failing battery can cause it to disable completely.
