I have a T410 and just noticed today that the power button is blinking green, whenthe machine is switched on.
If i reboot it goes away for a while but then starts blinking again.
What does this mean?

It happens when I have the battery in the machine + it's plugged in.
It only happens when I do some intensive stuff on the machine, but not all the time.
And even then after a reboot it goes away.
I have the battery set on "auto optimize lifespan".
Is it good if I do a battery reset from the power manager?

just a suggestion.
The power button blinks because your system went into standby. (You mentioned that the battery is set to optimize lifespan).
To wake it up, try to press the blue FN key on your keyboard. bottom left position.
hope this helps.
