I am getting Blue Screen Error while Installing Windows XP Pro on ThinkPad T510 during setup. It comes after Win XP's disk has loaded all the drivers and files to start installation. It can load Win 7 and Run but not XP or Server 2003
"A Problem has been Detected and Windows has been shut down....

Ok I solved it and this is how.
I don't know myself what is that AHCI mode and Compatibility mode is for in BIOS Settings for SATA HDD but changing from AHCI to Compatibility mode has solved issue of Blue Screen.
Anyone who would like to give some insights about it? some details that should we keep system in AHCI or Compatibility mode (For eg when installing Dual OS??)

when installing Windows XP you will see probmt to press F6 to add 3rd party driver using floppy disk... yes that right a floppy disk only option!.
or you can add driver to Windows XP cd using Nlite program. www.nliteos.com
maybe the easies option is to change AHCI option from bios that you have already did.
i havent seen any performance issues if XP uses compatibility mode.
