I am using a T410 and was wondering if I could take out my fully charged battery when my notebook is on.
I do not wish to keep charging my fully charged battery as it will deplete the charges faster if I am connected to the AC for a long period of time.
Yes, assuming that the notebook is running with AC connected, you can remove your battery by doing the following:
1. Right-click on the Thinkvantage Power Manager
2. Click on the "Remove and Replace Battery" option.
This is the best way of removing the battery whilst your laptop is still on. Tip: Lenovo Thinkpad's battery and power manager will sense a fully charged battery, and the battery will stop charging until the battery drops below a threshold level.
how can we improve it?
