I am using a T410 and was wondering if I could take out my fully charged battery when my notebook is on.

I do not wish to keep charging my fully charged battery as it will deplete the charges faster if I am connected to the AC for a long period of time.

Yes, assuming that the notebook is running with AC connected, you can remove your battery by doing the following:

1. Right-click on the Thinkvantage Power Manager Power_Manager.JPG

2. Click on the "Remove and Replace Battery" option.

This is the best way of removing the battery whilst your laptop is still on.

Tip: Lenovo Thinkpad's battery and power manager will sense a fully charged battery, and the battery will stop charging until the battery drops below a threshold level.
