Hello ThinkPad fans,
About one year I turn to ThinkPad T500...
Unfortunately I am not contented!
After T61 I feel very very big difference... (to the worse)
Originally is comes with Windows Vista, one week ago I upgraded OS up to Windows 7 (Seven).
BUT! Bugs and blue screens quantity become more and more....

note: It's not my primary PC, totaly work hour will be about 20Hr... or less...
Anybody help me... Is some patch or update for more stability??
CHANGED HDD from HITACHI To FUJITSU
AND PROBLEM STAYING............

Did you upgrade or do a clean install of Windows 7?
Did you download all the appropriate Windows 7 drivers from the Lenovo website, either manually, or by first installing TVSU version 4.0 and then running that?
Have you updated the BIOS on the system to the latest level?

Mark, OS was cleaned and re-install in Lenovo Partner Service Center T'bilisi.
I tried all versions of BIOS-is.... : (
Same problems in vista..... more problems in Windows 7.... FROM 1ST DAY!......

An unhelpful observation: My year-old T400 has been rock-solid with both Vista Business 64 and Windows 7 64. My WAG is that you have bad hardware. Bad RAM, bad motherboard, bad...
Particularly if it has been going on from day one - with different operating systems and hard drives.
Your T should be/should have been replaced under warranty.
