DCIMAN32.dll is missing

Hi there, Am having a problem on start up which my diagnostic software can't fix/autocheck.

Hi there,

I'm getting a TPScrex.exe error message followed by others associated with Itunes. They all say they are caused by the loss of DCIMAN32.dll, which I didn't uninstall/delete.

I've uninstalled itunes but have no option to restore to a previous state now because it can't do the preliminary autocheck on the SW_preload disk the system restore says has the file system corruption problem and disk errors.

I've looked around on the web and seen that perhaps it's being caused by malware, which the CA antivirus suite I have isn't picking up.

A Mcafee scan program downloaded itself and installed with a recent Adobe flash player update, both of which I've now removed as well, but I can't seem to restore to a point prior to that?

Can you help me sort it out please? I'm running windows 7 on a Lenovo thinkpad T400

Re: DCIMAN32.dll is missing

Go to an elevated Command Prompt (http://www.nilpo.com/2009/07/windows-vista/running-an-elevated-command-prompt/), and run:
SFC /SCANNOW

If that doesn't work,
CHKDSK /F
