Disabling T430 hardware wifi switch permanently

Hey - my hardware wifi switch keeps breaking, thinking it's in the off position. I can temporarily fix it by opening up the laptop and jigger the connections, but this takes a full hour every time i do it, and it only seems to last a month or so, then it breaks again and i have to open up the computer again.

Is it possible to simply disable the hardware switch?

Have you considered soldering a jumper across the switch?
