Disabling something in BIOS still makes it enabled in Windows 7

After disabling the security chip and anti-theft tech in BIOS, Intel Management Engine Interface says they're enabled. How do I disable these in Windows 7?

Memory Card Slot device appears in Windows after disabling it in BIOS as well. Are there any solutions for these issues?

Hi lenssd9,

When you disabled them in BIOS did you uninstall the software and drivers?

Did you also check to see if the device still functioned after the changes?

I've made a clean Windows 7 installation after disabling them in BIOS.

What specifically did you disable before you did your install of Windows 7.

Some items will be turned on automatically when you install Windows, it just a matter of which ones are  instlalled and going back in and turning them off after installation
