Dolby Home Theater v4 Solutions for Windows 10?

I've just upgraded my T430s to Windows 10 and Dolby home Theater v4 no longer runs. The only solution I can find leads me to this page: https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/documents/ht103618

This page tells me that a different dolby software will be available via my computer's driver profile page - it is not. Called tech support, they told me to go to Dolby. Went to the Dolby website, and they pointed me to my computer's drive profile page (the support page). What gives?

I really enjoyed the audio quality it provided. I'd love any solutions or help you could provide. Will continue scouring the forums.

Edit: Found the solution here: https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/ThinkPad-T400-T500-and-newer-T/Dolby-Advanced-Audio-problems-with-T430-...

Re: Dolby Home Theater v4 Solutions for Windows 10?

Hi,

I have the same problem. Today I went for Windows 10 and then realized that the Dolby is not working - could not find it anywhere.

According to the advice I found on Lenovo websites I unistalled the Conexant drivers - just to find out that for my product - ThinkPad Edge E420s there is no support for these audio drivers for Win 10. What do I do now? Should I try to install again the ones for Win 7? Or the ones that were released for some ether Edge types?

I am such a dumbo.

Anyone can please help me?

Thank you.

You're not a dumbo, it's confusing. See my posted fix (look at the bottom of my original post)
