I just obtained new LG 4K displays. I have them hooked up to a ThinkPad Hybrid USB-C with USB-A Dock via DisplayPort. The dock is connected to a T480s (20L7) via USB-C. I am running the monitors at 3840x2160 @ 60Hz.
The performance is a bit laggy at times...it almost feels like I'm pushing the limits of what the laptop/dock can support. I have the latest drivers and firmware installed for both the laptop (via Lenovo's System Update utility) and dock.
Even doing operations like Windows + TAB cause the WUDFHost.exe process (Windows Driver Foundation - User-mode Driver Framework Host Process) to spike up to 10% CPU / 100 % GPU.
Anyone else running with a similar setup? Any suggestions (short of getting new hardware) that I can do to boost the performance with my existing setup?

Hi AaronRM! The laptop can only support up to WQHD (2560x1440) resolution as per: https://psref.lenovo.com/Product/ThinkPad/ThinkPad_T480s. The solution to this is to lower down the resolution of the TV for it to work properly.
