Great Customer Support Experience

I see a lot of lenovo tech support haters online so I felt I needed to counter with my experience.


In under a year from purchasing my T480s I started to have issues. In the first issue, there problem was with the battery charging;  the battery would discharge but not recharge. That lead to a motherboard replacement which fixed that but caused new issues. Since the motherboard replacement, the computer was running really slow, 5th percentile compared to other comparables on performancemark. My tech support team at work was unable to figure out the issue. I contacted Lenovo, and they agreed it could be a hardware issue. Lenovo promptly mailed me a box and a paid shipping label to send my device back to them. Within 24 hrs of the device reaching their facility, they replaced the motherboard and CPU and had my device shipped back to me. The entire tech support experience was quite painless.
