Has anyone tried copying a T440 Windows 8.1 Recovery Partition to a new disk?

I am trying to replace a T440 HDD to a new SSD.

I want to copy everything, including the Windows 8.1 recovery partition. The trouble is that I can't figure out how to do it.

I did successfully clone the boot partition to the SSD, and Recovery partitions does SEEM to be cloned as well, but when I try to do the factory recovery(just to check if it is working), For some reason the computer does not detect the recovery partition.

Has anyone tried upgrading the HDD to an SSD and tried copying the recovery partition to the new disk? How did you do it?

W540(Sold), Helix(Sold), Tablet 2(Sold), Tablet 10, X120e(Sold), X201 Tablet, X41 Tablet(Sold), X41, S30*4, X32*4, 701C*4
You could throw around your ThinkPad because it won't break.
You can still throw around your ThinkPad because it will break anyway even if you treasure it.

I did, no issues.  Just cloned the whole drive, easy-peasy, even shrank the c: drive partition to fit in the smaller SSD.  Everything came over.
