So my UEFI does not support DMA remapping? Or is it just that I made a mistake?

Will Lenovo support it?

Re: How can I enable kernel DMA protection on T480?

Kernel DMA protection is not supported in T480.  It will be supported in next generation like T490.

Re: How can I enable kernel DMA protection on T480?

There is a VT-d setting in the BIOS.

Will future firmware updates support it? Or does the hardware not support it?

Thank you very much.

Re: How can I enable kernel DMA protection on T480?

T480 doesn't support it.  It means support won't be added by future firmware update.
