So my UEFI does not support DMA remapping? Or is it just that I made a mistake?

Will Lenovo support it?

Kernel DMA protection is not supported in T480.  It will be supported in next generation like T490.

There is a VT-d setting in the BIOS.

Will future firmware updates support it? Or does the hardware not support it?

Thank you very much.

T480 doesn't support it.  It means support won't be added by future firmware update.
