If I buy a T480..?

If I buy a T480 mostly for office use I think an i5 could do the job or what do you think? I don't have any games at all but many people thinks that it is crazy not to buy an i7.

Re: If I buy a T480..?

Hello OlePeter!

An i5 would give a good experience using your laptop for years to come. Essentially, the Core i7 processors have more capabilities than Core i5 CPUs. Better for multitasking, multimedia tasks, high-end gaming, and scientific work. Of course, it’s entirely optional and I would recommend getting a laptop with a performance-oriented CPU only if you’d like to use it for more than just word processing.

Re: If I buy a T480..?

Hello Hassen
Thank you for your info. I will keep my T450 with i7 processor. I don't use it for gaming or picture or videoprocessing, but just for MS Office 2019. I was just considered a new Pc because the T450 was getting older. No reason just to buy a new Pc just for that.

Regards
Peter
