Is 250gb 5400rpm hd enough?

My T510 is getting that and i'm not sure if it's enough space or speed.   is $63 dollars worth a 320gb 7200rpm hd?

whether it is enough depend on how much programs you have and how much you store on the laptop.

5400 is fine for a drive you store files, media, etc. on, but to me there is a noticeable difference between 5400 and 7200 RPM for an OS/programs drive. The increased speed is very appreciable when loading Windows and starting programs.

is 7200rpm really necessary for a college student majoring in business who will use the laptop after college as well in a business?

5400 rpm should be okay for your need, if you feel the speed is lacking you could always get the ssd in the future.
