I purchased the T470 last month. My T470 has M.2 2280 256G SSD. I want to add a M.2 2242 SSD on the WAN slot, but I have
browsed the forum, somebody had BIOS issue after they added a M.2 2242 SSD on the WAN slot. It is said that add a M.2 2242 SSD
on the WAN slot is ok after I read the user guide. So, I am confused that adding a M.2 2242 SSD on the WAN slot can work
Could anybody give me some suggestion?
Thank you very much.

@Bryan1979. Yes, there was an issue with one of the BIOS's a while back where it stopped recognizing some WWAN 2242 m.2 cards. That has long been fixed. I was following that thread because I have such a card, but mine was not affected by that bug.
@x220forme. Here is the link to that thread:

Hello. I found the following review feedback on amazon.com 3 months ago, which may be of interest.
This M.2 2242 SATA SSD is on backorder. I am still waiting for it to put in my T25.

Also, there are a few drives, but this is the one I have been using in my T470 for the past 8 months, where I run two Linux(s) from. I chose it because it was reasonably priced and saw where another person at the time was sucessfully using it. I see it is even $20 cheaper than when I bought it..
