I've just bought what looked like a great deal, but now found that maybe it wasn't as good for me as it looked.
It is a T450s i7 with 12GB, touch screen, with twin video cards and IPS - great for gamers (although I'm not one myself). However, when I tried to add it into my docking station, it wouldn't fit, and I looked on the bottom - no docking plug! Apparently it's an SWG model, and the extra video card doesn't support an external monitor. However, I need a large screen for work. So my question is, does Lenovo offer a dock for this type of machine so that I can use the standard Intel video with that external monitor? Or is there a plug actually buried in the base of the machine, and it's just that I need to exchange the base of the machine to allow access to the plug? Or is there some other solution, short of selling the machine?
For completeness, the model is a "20BWZ0CJUS", with touch screen.

Welcome to Lenovo Community! And happy to have you here.
As I understand that you have query regarding dock for T450s
But sadly, the dock is only available for integrated models not for Discrete one, so that is the reason there is no dock connector on the base of your system.
As you have mentioned that you need to have a large screen for your work try connecting the external monitor using mDP or VGA ports as this model can supports three independent displays.
I hope the above information helped you.
