Is it possible to extract DVD player from recovery disks (T410 Win7 32 bit)?

Hello,

I have reinstalled Windows 7 64-bit from scratch on my new T410. Now I have tried to extract dvd player as well as DVD movie factory from my Recovery Disks (Windows 7 32bit), however I didn't manage to find setup files. In .wim file I can see ony preinstalled applications. Is it possible to move them to my new system?

I know that this question seems a bit stupid but when I ordered my model only systems with Win7 32bit were available.

Regards,

Wojtek

Well, ask for 64bit Recovery Media for your system. You will pay some fee (i paid cca 30 EUR), but then you can completely recover your laptop and have it in same status, if you buy this laptop with preinstalled 64bit system from Lenovo. I did it by this way.
