Re: LENOVO THINKPAD T470s not detecting any SIM-cards
Purchased the T470s with 4G LTE modem. The Sierra wireless EM7455 is clearly visible in device manager with no errors and can be turned on and off, but it won't detect any SIM-cards (have tried updating, restarting, different SIM-cards), but nothing. Only asks to enter the SIM-card, but does not detect it when inserted.
Re: LENOVO THINKPAD T470s not detecting any SIM-cards
Welcome to the Community
As I understande clearly, the wwan modem was in the factoty configuration.
Make sure the SIM card is inserted properly, the reader' pins aren't broken, they are breakable enough.
What's the OS version and update for win10 on the laptop? If it's win10 isn't there cellular settings in the OS settings?
Provide, please, some information about modem (in case of Windows): - open command prompt window (cmd) - execute the following commands netsh mbn sh int netsh mbn sh cap int=*
Past the output here (remove Hardware ID value)
