Re: Latest Power Management Driver Conflicts with Lenovo OSD

This problem has returned for me on my P50 Win 10 thinkpad.  Details

- Lenovo PM Device driver 1.67.14.7

- fn F7 does not bring up the Change Displays menu

Re-installing the Hotkey Features Integration v. 9.0.0.10 (N1WVU51W) restores fn F7 function, but this is kind of a pain.  Functionallity goes away on random restarts (i.e., sometimes restart leaves the function in tact, sometimes not).

Suggestions?

The problem of this thread was only with Win7.  Not Win10.

But you may be having a different problem.  When did it start happening?

Can you check if version 9.0.4.1 solves it?  This version is not released yet but I put it in my OneDrive here:

Unzip it, then run setup.exe

Re: Latest Power Management Driver Conflicts with Lenovo OSD

Thanks but if you are asking me to install a Win10 update, this is a corporate pc and I can not.  I'm running Win10 Enterprise and the last update was Feature, Cumulative, other updates version 1809 on 2/9/19 and I would say that is about when I started noticing this problem.  Maybe I should roll that back but the corporation will probably force it on me again.

Re: Latest Power Management Driver Conflicts with Lenovo OSD

I had this problem about a year ago. After updating the drivers, it was all solved. However, after the last update a few days ago, it returned. I've been trying everything (I uninstalled and reinstalled, updated keyboard drivers, updated/rolled back the Lenovo PM Device and Lenovo Device Manager but nothing helped.

The FN buttons (and as a result sound, mic, Bluetooth etc - all the set) won't work.

Please help!

Re: Latest Power Management Driver Conflicts with Lenovo OSD

Hi yusufo,

Which machine type do you own?

I personally have a Lenovo T430 and not facing the issue since, nor do i have any new update on Lenovo System Update or the Lenovo Support Webpage itself for the PM driver or the OSD driver.

If this happens on a different MT, i would open another thread since this is marked as solved (I'm the originator).

Re: Latest Power Management Driver Conflicts with Lenovo OSD

hi katlani

it's a thinkpad 13.

The sound buttons work right after starting the device for a moment and then goes back to not functioning again. additionally, the touchpad is malfunctioning. the right click shuts the tabs and I can switch to another file by clicking. it won't work. this happens occasionally.

I'll open another thread. thanks.

Re: Latest Power Management Driver Conflicts with Lenovo OSD

yes, ok, indeed might be 13 series related and not T400/T500, lets follow up on your new thread.
